inactivity has an effect on timing more than anything else, and will be an issue in the first fight back depending on the fighter. a tough fight changes the fighter physically. you can shake off ring rust, but punches that go in dont come out.

Actually, now that I think of it ring rust may be worse than having tough fights. Case and point, Holy looked a lot fresher than Mike in fight 1...
