would fancy a past prime version of golovkin against canelo. Only has to be 80 percent of his best to beat him

EXACTLY!! That's the point I was making, you cannot call a boxer into the ring and say his infamous "Mexicans don't f@#$ around" quote, then dump the belt and act like he never said it.

Like Rocky says in the movie CREED, "time is undefeated"!!!!
Ggg better start on a diet if he doesnt want to get old for a canelo fight... #154-168

GGG said a few things too...like,he'll fight anybody from 154 to 168.

          What about that??

You hold one guy to what he said but not the other.

Add to that, his comments made directly to Golovkin while Gennady was standing in the ring. I think a more appropriate statement would be, "only a moron would expect Canelo to honor his word"
Canelo is just another smaller guy GGG wants to pick on.

He always looks down for opponents....never up.

Demographic fighters move up for opponents...they take risks and aren't afraid to challenge themselves.

It's not Canelo's fault GGG stayed in the amateurs too long.

Now he's trying to use Canelo to make up for lost time.

Alvarez was right to tell that old clown to kick rocks.

Canelo is young,he doesn't have clock ticking away on his shoulder...he'll move to 160 when he is good and well ready.

Canelo is another MW champ that Golovkin is looking to unify with. Just like Saunders. Not picking on a smaller guy like you say. Golovkin is/was also seeking fights with Eubank and Jacobs. Are they 'smaller guys' too? How about Ramirez, who is a possibility for next year. Smaller guy?

What do you mean by demographic fighter? I've never heard that term before
