what is ur true passion in life, are u doing it and does it make u any money?
for example, i love acting but im not following through with cos other commitments in life i.e. bills and my acting career is not making any real income
Making films. Hope I can do something with it. My brother is currently on one of the very best film and TV production courses in the country so that might open something up.
as sad as this sounds, my chief passion is boxing.
i was an accredited member of the media for several years. there is no money in it whatsoever. i'll surely end up dabbling in it again when another opportunity comes up, but i have no future in it.
i also love to ski. going 70 MPH down a sheet of ice is one of the only things that still makes me feel like a real person.
i used to be extremely passionate about my work (i own a business, and i dabble in investing) but i've grown disillusioned with it. it's just a job to me now. i do it for the money. i hope i'll be doing something very different in 10 years. i am trying to go to graduate school in the spring.
if i had the opportunity i'd quit my job and write books and screenplays for young adults. that's been the goal for a while now, but it's just not realistic. they'd probably suck, at least when i first started out.

University Professor. Not pursuing that route. Followed a different career path and so far it's going quite well. Probably won't end up as happy as pursuing true passion, but real life trumps chasing the dream sometimes.
I was interested in getting involved in something sports-related (front office or media), but I felt like I could do much more with my life. Still would have been really cool and am envious of people in sports like Max Kellerman, GMs, and executives.
That would be a cool job. Who did you write for? and is any of your old work available to view online? Would be cool to read a piece of your work.
i've written for quite a few internet based media outlets, but i did the most work for "leave it in the ring radio." i started out writing promotional material, etc, but moved quickly to getting media credentials and covering fights from ringside. i did that for about two years. i've interviewed former, current, and future world champions. it wasn't a job, just a hobby. i was never paid a dime. it was actually boxingscenes "official" radio show for a while if memory serves right. all of this took place before i even joined boxingscene, and well before i became a prolific user of the website.
they're reformatted their website so many times that i'd be shocked if any of my material is still up there. i haven't even been to the site in years. i'm almost positive that the show still exists. it's hosted by dave duenez, a friend of mine, and gabe montoya, who i really don't know well.
i'm not dropping my name here because there are some bonafide nutcases on the internet. you definitely would't recognize my name or anything, and i never had a bwaa card or hall of fame vote.
