I've got to give this some thought since I haven't really been thinking about films as much recently, but damn Grave of the Fireflies is a masterpiece. Incredibly sad, though. Probably single-handedly proved to me how effective anime could be.

See, that's what I'll never get with the film. We all know Alonzo planned it from the jump, but would he have not tried to have Jake killed if he played the game, and went along with his dirty ways, or was he planning on having him killed regardless?
