  • Actually Wladimir's resume is better than Floyd's. Mayweather is 5'6". He is a squirt. David Haye, Sultan Ibragimov, Samuel Peter would put him in a coma. p4p is just egalitarian nonsense. You don't have a basketball league for people under 6 foot, you don't have a soccer league for guys who can't run fast, but in boxing you have lower weight division for people who can't compete with the big boys.

Byrd was Ring #1 when Wlad beat him in 2006.

Because there was a very real chance he might have lost and gotten another L along with his defense streak being snapped?
Right Ive acknowledged that AND not rematching Sanders as blemishes on his record.

Bad comparisons. In basketball it's a team sport.

I don't know if you follow the NBA.. But there is no way in hell Prime John Stockton can guard Andrew Bynum 1v1. Bynum will literally destroy Stockton 1v1 and take his soul.

But who's the greater player? Stockton or Bynum?

'Football or soccer' is also a team sport.

1v1 . there's a lot of players who are much more athletic and can dominate the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. Theo Walcott is probably 4 times as athletic as Paul Scholes.. but Scholes is by far the greater player.

Boxing is 1v1. The divisions are what make it interesting..
              It's not a 10 v 10
If boxing was somehow a 10 v 10 team combat sport.. there is a good chance some Light weight can co exist on the same team as a heavyweight.. in some fantasy world where boxing is a 'team combat sport'

Without any other Hall of famers, it's impossible for him to be greater. This is just fact.
