When I first started learning how to punch I would do what my instructor told me and thats to pretend to put out a ciggerette with my foot.
This sometimes moved my hips and sometimes didnt.
I want to know why it sometimes worked and sometimes didnt?
Like now my hips are moving more consistantly thank God but for a long time I had trouble getting them to work some days they just didnt work at all and other days they worked perfectly all day.
What accounts for this? Scientifically whats going on? I appear to be doing or trying to do the exact same motion each time ie putting out the ciggerette but sometimes my hips rotated and sometimes they didnt. ?????
