its true, before i believed in god i have been in some sticky situations and i always called for god 1st in those situations even when i didnt believe in him yet.

Go watch all those near death experience videos. At first they don't believe in god and just do their own thing. Then they suddenly have their life at risk and then say "I started to pray".

I believe in an omniscient and omnipotent God, but not in any religion. I think religion is man's way of trying to understand God, but we're not really capable of it. However, I believe there probably is some truth mixed with mythology in many religions.
