I'm still puzzled as to how Floyd managed to retire undefeated

  • 99% of the people who say Castillo beat Mayweather in their 1st fight have never watched the fight, of the ones who did watch it, 90% of those did not score the fight. You win a fight by winning more rounds, there is simply no way any seeing person can find more than 4 or 5 rounds to give to Castillo, even then there is zero sane person that cannot give Mayweather at least 6 rounds. If you're being incredibly generous, the best you could do is score it a draw, but that is really pushing it.

Castillo definitely beat Mayweather up in a few of the late rounds though after Mayweather's shoulder had been pulled out of socket.

Madaina came closer than Castillo to beating Floyd, but that's still a draw at best.

If you can't accept that Floyd was a very talented fighter who worked incredibly hard to be what he was there is no point discussing him. Which is why I don't discuss him anymore it is a pointless endeavor.
      Good point

No doubt, people say Mayweather doesn't hit that hard, but he must have hit Pacquaio extra hard, because it caused brain damage to many of Pacquiao's fans it was so hard.

Exactly, people like to say it was matchmaking but they're delusional. The guy had plenty of talent and extreme dedication. When you work harder than everybody else of course you're going to beat everybody else.

Judah came fairly close at 2:43.

Yeah, credit to Zab on that one but it's still not an official knock down IMO.

yup that dedication and hardwork results to being dehydrated at 146 and coincidentally against pac.

never in Floyd history as a welter did he got dehydrated at 146, not even after Pac. he was not dehydrated against berto @146.
