I agree. The fault isnt completely the dark ages though. The fall of the Roman empire is mainly at fault in my opinion. They let themselves fall to corruption and then conquering armies. Were headed down the same rout now in America.
Yeah I was thinking about that recently, if there'd been no Dark Ages, Europe would've got round to producing all that wonderful **** we use today a few hundred years earlier.

Every empire falls, and always from within. It's just what happens, eventually. Then Christianity reigned supreme and that really ****ed everything up.
is not actually true, maybe dark ages is too blame but a lot of technolgy is come from war.

The chinese is actually more advance from all the world civilization because of war but they crumble also because of war.
There was religion before the dark ages. The dark ages were a bunch of power hungry war mongers raping and pillaging to claim territories. The Visigoths weren't that religious and Clovis' conversion to Christianity was a ploy for political gain.
