                  I enjoy reading this book. Short explanation the U.S. country is overrun by lawyers. We, the people, are unable to enjoy and do the simple things in life. An example, hanging a swing in a tree by the government is litigious because someone can sue the government for 1). causing death, someone might commit suicide with it or a child might choke on it, and 2). it can cause injury to someone using it.

                  It suggests that the U.S. should review its legal system especially the judicial and legislative systems.

                    You said you want philosophy, well here is one:

                    John Rawls quotes:

                    "Each person possesses an inviolability founded on justice that even the welfare of society as a whole cannot override. Therefore in a just society rights secured by justice are not subject to political bargaining or to the calculus of social interests."

                    Interesting read, although very wordy he explores the concept of justice and its meaning.
