Team Sauerland is delighted to confirm that Patrick Nielsen will be fighting for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title when the Nordic Fight Night hits Frederikshavn on March 17. The 20-year-old Danish Boxer of the Year, who scored a spectacular flash KO against Jozsef Matolcsi at Broendby Hall, will face Gaston Alejandro Vega (17-4, 6 KOs) from Argentina at Arena Nord. “This will be the toughest fight of Patrick´s promising career,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said at a press conference in Frederikshavn. “But everybody who has seen him in action knows why we have the utmost of confidence in him. Winning the Intercontinental Title at such an early age would be massive. We have no doubts that Patrick is ready for the big stage.”
