  • Has Naazim cured Shane of that "wash-woman" motion with his hands?

I always felt that one of the reasons Shane has been troubled by good boxers is that he telegraphs his punches with that "wash-woman" motion he does. He spins his hands like an egg beater, and then throws a punch.

Floyd , Sr. appropriately described it as "jittery".

Look at Shane's record vs decent/good boxers:

    Oscar Delahoya: 12 rounds
    Oscar Delahoya: 12 rounds
    Vernon Forrest: 12 rounds
    Vernon Forrest: 12 rounds
    Winky Wright: 12 rounds
    Winky Wright: 12 rounds

Fernando Vargas: 10 rounds (Gordo's eye gave out - never hurt)
David Estrada: 10 rounds (full fight)
JL Cruz: 10 rounds (full fight)
    Luis Collazo: 12 rounds
    Miguel Cotto: 12 rounds
    Ricardo Mayorga: 12 rounds

The point here is that Shane hasn't ever really been able to put punishment on guys with boxing skills, because those guys can see his power shots coming - despite Shane's top-flight hand speed.

This is one of the main problem I have in envisioning Shane doing much serious damage to Floyd.

Do you guys think Shane telegraphs his punches?... or are they just too wide?

Also, it makes him expend more energy than he needs to.

Also, I never REALLY noticed it, but he can only throw that left hook when he bounces.
