doesn't matter if Mosley was #1
he was shot, and Floyd didn't become lineal by beating him
and fuck Baldomir, because he sucks balls
Ortiz is a decent win for Floyd, not good or bad, just decent
being #2 in the division means shit when the division sucks

if he wasn't gonna fight Pac, Shane was the next best choice
doesn't change the fact that Shane was shot
if people are recognizing Floyd as lineal, it's continuation
        maybe they retcon his "retirement"
but no new lineage has been established at WW
Cotto, Tony, nor Shane was lineal champ
and this has gone off topic of Floyd "ducking" Kostya
that's ok since he didn't duck him, but you've derailed your own thread

when lineal champs refuse to fight the best then the lineage is broken in my eyes. you can't just freeze out certain fighters and expect to be called "the man" you arent. you are a ducking fraud. none of those lineal bum champs fought margarito who was #1 for 4 years or pac who was #1 for 4 years. you can't keep your lineage forever otherwise is zsolt erdei still the 175 pound lineal champ? hey he hasn't lost he must be!

Kostya said he'd like to fight Floyd, Floyd was vocal about wanting to fight Kostya for the longest, but they were committed to rival networks when Floyd entered Kostya's dominion. Kostya's people set up a deal to fight Hatton and that was that. neither Floyd nor Kostya ducked the other.
