BF Alluding to the Cuban Lottery system that
allowed you to come to Miami legally. If you could
take a minute to explain how that works and what
feelings you have on life here in Miami compared
to back home in Cuba?
RA: The thing about winning the Lotto as well call it
is that it is all luck. Its like winning the Lotto here. Its
very difficult and not a lot of people win it to be able
to come here legally. But now I am allowed to go back
and forth. As far as here and there, there I had a good
life. I have a family, a farm but different things than
here. Here I have more material things like a car and a
house. Over there I dont have the material things but
the sentimental value will always be there because of
my family and stuff.
BF: I could imagine so, now with the lottery what
you are saying is that they didnt take into
consideration that you would be a professional
fighter. That it was completely random?
RA: Yes, completely random. I just got lucky. It
wasnt investigated, they dont have the technology to
know who it is. My father tried so he could bring all
his family over.
YPH lost to Ross and being named RING Champion is a farce why do people act like he's some proven dominant champion in the division? His chin is average at best at CW moving up would be a mistake.
In the state of HW division, to deny Hernandez would be a pretty good HW, is just overly critical.
A former CW in Steve Cunningham, who's light punching, knocked down an up and coming hyped up HW, as well as hurting him several times and only finally losing with a foul/punch hybrid. Otherwise, Cunningham took every single flush right hand with his worst reaction being backing up to recover. Dude had Fury's knees buckling several times and knocked him down silly. The HW division sucks, the top CW's could come up and beat some of the top 10 HW's in a fair fight. It's a highly sad division, sorry. Should be renamed to Sad Weight.
From what i read, it only involves the WSB. Nothing has really changed, they will just be competing against the same fighters they've always been competing with except for a little money this time. Its bull****

There are other ways to get here too. For example, by me being a citizen I can claim my dad and he can bring his wife and my sisters with him. You can also claim family members to just come visit and they can end up staying but then they will be illegals of course.

Yes that is true. But I don't think if you turned pro and fought professionally you couldn't simply return to Cuba like Abril is doing.
