No one was ever as big as Tyson

      Only Ali

Tyson is probably a top 3 athlete in terms of recognition and popularity in history

It's crazy, IMO. The guy is hellishly overrated.

No doubt he was effective; but against limited opposition.

He did have an attractive style (i.e. inside game/brutal KOs)

Well Tyson was the last dominate long reigning American heavyweight champion, since then other Americans have worn the crown but not for an extended period.

YDKSAB if you're serious with that post

But then again this place has Bruce Lee beating Muhammad Ali in a fight

If the Klitschko's were a little more entertaining, they'd be bigger stars here.

He would be popular everywhere as long as he stayed out of trouble and kept his head straight. He would knock out all the posers today.

Why, because I don't rank your hero as a top 10 HW?

Don't get me wrong, bro, I was a fan of Tyson. His explosive power, footwork and speed were unrivalled.

Its just a shame he was badly managed.

Agreed. For some reason some Americans just don't appreciate boxers that come from the UK, or all of Europe for that matter. Just look at the Klits.

Manny Pacquiao is proof it doesn't matter.
