If the NJ Nets really move to Brooklyn this year

Where Carmelo Anthony is originally from, then wouldn't he sign with the Nets with an extension?

I mean I know he wanted to go to the Knicks, who are from Manhattan, cause that was the team closest to home. But if the Nets become the Brooklyn Nets, wouldn't he happily stay there?

Or is it just that he wants to be a Knick?

I don't know. I thought he just wanted to be as close to home as possible. But i'd like for him to come to the Knicks.

Melo isn't gonna put the Nets over the top. If he's able to turn them into a .500 team, that would be an accomplishment IMO. In that trade they give up Harris. Who knows what will go down with Billups, but Billups isn't doing much for the Nuggets this year, what's he gonna do for the Nets? Plus, Lopez can't rebound. They would definitely have some names, but nowhere near elite IMO.
