Correct. Canelo has done enough to earn it by beating Trout.

The only thing holding it back is if Mayweather decides to stay at 147. But he hasn't vacated his title at 154 which tells me he plans on defending it at some point.

Floyd should beat Guerrero and I bet he stays at 147 for all his future fights. I see nothing wrong with that if he gives up his WBA 154 pound title he won from Cotto. I don't think he will ever fight Canelo and if he ever does fight Canelo I will bet as much money on Canelo as I can afford to lose.

If he doesn't fight him it's the clearest duck of his career. I don't really have much of an opinion about other supposed ducks, because it could be argued either way, and theres no solid evidence Floyd has ducked anyone.

But this, Canelo a huge star, got a huge win, and is a GBP fighter. He doesn't fight him, then it's a full on duck.
