    Eubank fought fighters at their peak when he was in his peak years, not a gathering of middle-aged, one-fight-a-year snore bores.

    Graciano Rocchigiani who was robbed against Maske and Michalcewski and beat Nunn (who Jones officially ducked), knocked out Hamsho (who gave Hagler fits) in a round etc. Eubank fought him in the middle of all that when he was 35-0 and the most avoided fighter in boxing. Lindell Holmes had blasted Frank Tate all over the ring and only lost to Van Horn on a body shot/exhaustion KO on his knees after dominating early. Michael Watson was tremendous against McCallum and improved from that. And Benn post-Barkley and pre-McClellan. Hopkins doesn't come close when we talk fighters in the primes of their young lives who were genuine major severe threats.

      Unless you're saying Eubank is a greater fighter than Hopkins with the greater resume?
      Did Eubank ever quit or fake injury?

      Hopkins = cardinal sins of potential boxing greatness.

      Eubank = unbreakable. The opposite.

        Well there we have it folks. He just explained how Chris Eubank as a fighter and resume >>>> Bernard Hopkins

        Nothing more to see here

          Right. I actually think that was him at his peak as well. But to say he was just a "body" is pretty silly. Was he unknown? Sure. But he was already considered one of the best, pound for pound and had been for some time.

              Overrated? Roy was amazing. If anything he's now underrated. You must have just started being a boxing fan in the last ten years.

                The guy is overrated since Trinidad. Who has he beat? Nobody. Lost twice to Jermain Taylor, the first particularly good fighter he fought in 12 years. Lost to an old Calzaghe, looked **** against an old Winky and shot Jones. Quit against Dawson, and faked injury also against Calzagne and Jones - hardly the sign of a great fighter, is it? The great fighters of the past were turning in their graves.
                Whoa, hold up.

                Are you seriously questioning Hopkins' ATG status?

                You can't be serious. You just can't be.

                  What's the definition of 'ATG status'?
