Fury came across more like a wrestler the way he manhandled little Steve last week. Hes not slow but not particularly fast, hes just fit and young enough to run at top gear for longer periods than Wlad, so he does appear to throw more rapidly in that respect.

As for Wlad, he isn't fast anyway. He lumbers with his head held way back out and relentlessly backs away from his usually much smaller opponent, opting for faster ineffective blows rather than slower heavy blows with would result in him opening up and getting knocked out. Its because he uses an evasive, jabbing style, running from opponents that he has massive physical advantages over, that he appears fast during much of his fights.

When he is coming forward trying to land heavy blows (again, only when his half fit opponent has tired), he doesn't exhibit speed.

I cant see Wlad facing Fury. Fury isn't good enough to be a world champion in any era, but his size and youth negate Wlad's advantages over fatboys and midgets. He doesn't fulfil the criteria for a Wlad opponent choice (old, unfit or minisize, or a combo of these). Its a guarantee that Wlad wont pick Fury as an opponent.
