Intelligence and being rich are not mutal and never have been.

My uncle has a PHD in biology and makes a decent living but he isn't exactly rich, nor does he care to be. He doesn't care for the ambition needed just to make more money.

Also being "rich" is objective. I assume you mean having millions of dollars with with your bills under control and no debt.

Thats one way to be rich, there are countless other ways to be rich and they don't necessarily involve having huge amounts of money.

Not only that, its impossible for everyone to be rich. No economy in the history of the world has been good enough for everyone to have enough wealth to be rich. So you can be smart, and be ambitious and not be fortunate enough to be rich.
