Life imprisonment. Time and time again, the system lets these creeps out only for them to offend again. Enough is enough, you rape a child, you go to jail for the rest of your life. Period, no exceptions...

I think it would be of more benefit to incarcerate such offenders in medical facilities where they can be studied with a hope of eliminating or alleviating the issue in the future. Prisons are not, I don't think, equipped to deal with the mentally ill.
