Have to confess though im not familiar with this guy, who is he?
Yuri Arbachakov was a brilliant Soviet amateur, posting a 165-21 record. After he won the World Amateur Championship as a flyweight in 1989, he moved to Japan to turn pro. Why Japan? He did it because he thought the money was better there for lower weight fighters. Also, he was the first Russian to win a world title as a professional.

If we start with the positive things, he was an almost perfect textbook boxer-puncher, evenly balanced between a boxer and a puncher. He had great footwork, always on balance and in position to get full leverage on his punches. He used a high guard and kept his feet at the same distance apart, in other words, he had excellent fundamentals.

He had every punch in his arsenal, and used them with pin-point accuracy and lovely punching form. He had a very measured and calculated approach, and even if he was set under heavy pressure, he always remained calm and composed. He is a lot like Salvador Sanchez in that aspect. An overall top-notch technical puncher and one of the most textbook you'll ever see.

On the negative side, his main weakness was that he could fight in a "just do enough" mode and therefore making fights closer than they had to be. He could also be guilty of staying in a one-two comfort zone for too long, rarely using his full arsenal of punches.

If you haven't seen him fight before, I recommend you to watch his first fight with Muangchai Kittikasem, a brilliant performance by Arbachakov.

I do like mike tyson power as an example the guy used his legs and upperbody momentun in an excellent way for those incredible hooks and uppercuts.

Another good example of this is joe louis with that incredible left hook he used to throw.

Also tommy hearns straight right hand was a thing of beauty, emmanuel steward really worked on tommy using his whole body to throw that huge long right hand.

      Rocky marcianos famous Susy Q

of course sugar ray robinson and joe louis are guys that were just ahead of them time...

damn there are too many to name !
