Roy had to adjust in the Eric Harding fight, didn't he?

Yeah he struggled quite a bit IMO. Harding, when motivated was a pretty good fighter. Solid southpaw style, able to fight on his front or back foot. Can't believe that fight was on PPV smh.

          Montel Griffin.

He gave Roy all kinds of problems in the first one.

Griffin is an underrated fighter I'd pick him over most, if not all of today's Super MW's.

I was gonna say Griffin I, I had this preconception before I watched it thinking that it was extremely stupid by Roy because he was clearly ahead during the DQ. That was quickly proved wrong during my actual watch.

I thought Hopkins was his toughest.

It is sad how that fight ended, that was Roy's moment to show true greatness by overcoming serious adversity. If he had stopped Griffin legitimately at the end there it would have been great for his legacy.

I think the rematch did just as much, if not more.
