So do people drink alcohol and watch boxing? I feel like I would miss subtle things if I were to be drunk and watch it. I'd hate to miss things others(as in people who watching the fight as a regular sporting event, not boxing for what it is) can't see.

I would say there is heavy drug play along with beer.

like most Brits im usually hammered by the time a vegas main event starts. Im not going to bed early on sat night and getting up at 3am to watch a fight with a coffee and a slice of toast.

Out (or in) with my mates and a pub or 10, back to the house where theres a few crates of beer chilling in the garage and shout drunken abuse at the tv.


Then re-watch it on sunday sober!

standard procedure for a 4am fight is out in the afternoon to watch the footy then use legal and illegal methods to stay awake for the fight, talk non-stop through the the main event whilst periodically screaming abuse at the TV and my mates and then totally forget the result by the time I wake up on Monday morning
