a simple one-two when thrown straight is enough to end just about any street fight with some wannabe tough guy.

It depends how good you are and what you apply. Trying to kick someone in the stomach or head would not be smart because if your leg gets caught you're in trouble.

A hard open hand strike to someone's solar plexus could be useful.
