How to develop a strong jab?

those pics dont prove much..i got a partner who does everything left handed...but writes right handed..strange...


but anyway..just practice your jab over and over until you cant anymore..shadow box and work the bag..turn your shoulder into it and jump into it off of your back foot

When i say close to the body what I mean is that (assuming an orthodox fighter) the elbow should not go to the left creating a back hand effect (but the arm should still twist rapidly, it should just be straight, if you understand what I mean.

if you use the more square peekaboo stance your jab becomes stronger naturally.
That style just lends itself to having a stiff jab and powerful hooks.

The disadvantage is you lose range on your straight right.

It's very strange that I can do tearing a sheet by my right hand
and can't by my left hand! I am sure if I can do this by my left I will have a killing jab... (paper is like for computer printer or xerox, strong)
