I think a lot of these kids don't remember the Ali from 66 and 67. They think of the thrilla in Manila or the rope a dope against Foreman. Ali was the fastest HW in history and could dance all night long if he had to as a young man. His speed would be too much for Wlad. Funny thing is Ali is proven, the Klitschko's are not. They've fought nothing but bums. They've never shown they could fight at a higher pace they are used to if they had to. They've never shown they could survive late in a fight that was life or death like Ali did with Frazier. There is virtually nothing they've shown in their careers that suggests they could deal with a fighter as great as Ali, nothing! Frazier yes, Quarry? I don't know, but it would be competitive.

Joe Louis would stand a much better chance, and Id pick him to KO both brothers.

oh pleease...stop overrating ali so much ....wepner gave ali a run for his money for all 15 round up until he gassed, the tko was due to wepner being exhausted other anything...this was before the thrilla came about.....the klits are better than wepner ....the klits would 've done better

Frazier had to high of an output combined with pressure to allow either Klitschko into the late rounds. If he didn't connect, either would fall from an emptey gas tank. A 245+ lb. man will never be the greatest in history or beat the best in history, unless he's a tremendous puncher that takes great chances with a very solid chin.
The fact that you think this as the criteria to greatness says it all.

            Fail.

How do you know? He's never fought anyone worth a damn. I'm not saying its guaranteed, but as long as Wlad fights, he's there to get hit. Watch him good, his size makes him slow and awkward "COMPARED" to a fighter like Ali who is very fast on his feet and with his fists. For Ali, it would be like fighting someone who was stuck in slow motion.

Lets leave Lewis out of this because that will just throw this thread into a different direction. The klitschko's have never fought anyone that seemed capable of beating them on points, and that's the bottom line. They are very beatable over a 12 round fight against a good fighter. They're good, but are way overrated by fans who know little about boxing history.

I'm saying that because the big guys can't work at a high rate like the smaller heavyweights and would be out worked every time. They can be successful against bums, but not against ATG's. Learn boxing, my friend.

First of all you don't know Ali like I do. During the 70's he needed a challenge to come in at top shape and look good. That's why he looked like crap against bums, but he rose to the occasion when he had to, at least until 1974. You really need to know Ali before you start using examples, because you look foolish to guys like me that know their history.
