It's difficult for a Fat Yank, with its Fat Yank-orientated mind, to fully appreciate the concept of world history.
Fat Yankistan as we know it (after they'd massacred a few natives) is a relatively new country, only being around for a couple of hundred years. So everything the average Fat Yank boasts about is in modern terms, like "we invented da internets" (even though you didn't) whereas the rest of the world laughs at the funny fat people and their "2 Fast 2 Furious". Britain is "inferior" to the US, I'll admit that... all we did was give the world Shakespeare, whereas you invented the pretzel.
