Could Fernando Vargas have beaten Felix Trinidad if he punched Tito in the balls too?

Vargas did not "eat 150 left hooks in the first round." That's a gross exaggeration.

Vargas had put Tito down twice and was on the comeback in the fight with all the momentum, when Tito intentionally hit him low to get him off and stop the momentum.

He was hurt which is why he puporsely threw the low blow.

tito had incredible punching power and accuracy - so videos like the above are to be expected.
I have the fight and watched it when it happened when they fought. Vargas was on the comeback and had Tito hurt after putting him down for the 2nd time with the momentum.

Trinidad purposely hit him low to get him off of him because he was in trouble. That low blow was bad!!!! Tito doesn't throw that punch if he didn't know he was in trouble.

That shot took the steam outta Vargas and allowed Trinidad to get back in the fight, so your damn right it changed things in the fight

As a matter of fact Trinidad threw MULTIPLE LOW BLOWS through the fight

What does rnd 1 have to do with the rest of the fight when he recovered and was on the comeback after putting Trinidad for the 2nd time.

Trinidad was in trouble and he knew it which is why he intentionally threw that blow. He threw multiple low blows through that fight.

It absolutely stopped the momentum and changed the outcome later in the fight.

Only a blind Trinidad fan would argue it had nothing to do with the outcome.

vargas just never had that IT to overcome obstacles like the upper-echelon of the fight game during that time. vargas is like a poorer-man's version of cotto.
