[PLEASE HELP] What are we supposed to refer to "black people" as?

African american isnt right, person of color isnt right. The derogatory words obviously isnt correct. So how do we refer to them? I usually refer to them as black. Is this correct?

Yeah but thats a technicality.

It kinda happens with me a lot. I'm Mexican but Im very light skinned, so by other Mexicans I get called "guero" all the time.

At the end of the day, we're all Mexican. Just like they're all Black, light skinned or otherwise.
