  • The worst robbery I've ever seen was right here in Vancouver last night

Last night at the River Rock Casino in Richmond (part of Greater Vancouver), our local boxer Junior Moar lost every minute of every round to a visiting fighter, Michael Walchuk.

But Moar was given a unanimous decision by our local judges. The fight was a ten rounder for the Canadian Light Heavyweight championship.

Walchuk, who has a Ukrainian father and an African-Canadian mother, is a very fast, athletic boxer who reminds me of Ismayl Syllakh.

During the fight, he landed frequent clean shots, jabbing and countering quickly and effectively, giving Junior Moar one of the worst "pizza faces" I've ever seen. He made Moar miss with virtually every punch, and after the fight there wasn't the slightest mark on Walchuk's face, and he didn't look like he had even broken a sweat.

This fight was a lot like Calzaghe-Lacy, it was complete domination by Walchuk. Robberies like this ruin the great sport of boxing.

      What fight were you watching???

Moar was having difficulty with the movment the first half of the fight, but he adapted. You cant take a title by running away the last 5 rounds of the fight throwing 20 punches to your opponents 50-60. Moar was landing body shots frequently throughout the second half of the fight. All Walchuk was able to do was move away and hit Moar's gloves. Moar was landing to the body, and to the top of Walchuks head.

If you have ever watch Junior Moar fight you know he bruises easily, even though I wouldnt quite all what he had a pizza face.

I saw Moar get completely smashed by LaFarell Bunting here in Seattle at the end of last year. The dude is a major tomatoe can.
