How is it HBOs fault. That guarantee was meant to entice either guy to come back and fight a big money fight. Obviously the intention was Maidana/Kahn and Bradley/Alexander and winners face off. Not for Bradley to take a creampuff in the interim, with no guarantees that they fight on HBO next time.

Bradley should be cut off from HBO from here on out, he does nothing for them

He isn't ducking but simply prolonging the bout for some money. You can call it a duck if you wish but IMO that's a stupid opinion to hold. If he chooses to fight someone else and then straight afterwards goes for Khan this ducking issue holds no ground and he's ended up making 1.2 million and still having Khan available for battle.
      agreed! Its just business.

          NO you are wrong.

According to HBO if this fight does not happen now, its likely the fight will NEVER happen.

Khan is also going to move to WELTER-WEIGHT. This is most likely the only chance.

Who cares if Bradley can make more money? Khan could fight European tomato cans for the rest of career and make a ton of money, risk-free. According to you all, that is the smart thing to do, but if he did do that you would all call him a pu$$y.

And again, this is probably the only chance for this fight to happen, and YES Bradley has NO FANS. Zero presence in his own STATE even. And this Khan fight could help change that a bit.

Why is it okay for Bradley to duck the best possible opponent, when any other fighter does this, like Floyd considering Spadafora, or Manny fighting geratric fighters people are out-raged? Stop being hypocritical.

This silly rationale you are all employing would mean, boxing would be dead if EVERY fighter only thought only with their wallets. Bradley has been opening his obnoxious mouth for ages, rattling off how he is going to fight Khan and beat him, that's what makes it all the more embarrassing.

Why does he want an easier opponent, if he thinks he can beat Khan? When Bradley has been openly saying he wants to fight Khan, and that Khan is ducking him?

Why was Bradley openly LYING to our faces for all these months? He shouldn't have been pretending he wanted to fight Khan, when it's obvious Bradley is TOO SCARED to put it on the line at this moment.

But HBO has a contract where the pre-approved fights are with Khan, Maidana, Berto, or a rematch with Alexander. The only realistic one is Khan. So Bradley is the one breaking his agreement.

And how DARE he lie that Khan is ducking him? What a blatant liar this pu$$y is.
            you know this for fact?

I can gaurantee you that if Amir was acting the way Bradley is now, everybody would be calling Amir a coward and a ducker now.

                Double standards, aye?

I think you meant fault so I will go with that

                    1. because they promised future fights with future monies guaranteed to both Alexander and Bradley.

                    2. Whether the intent was to make 140 a hot division they didn't exactly do that so now HBO is stuck with two guys who under delivered on their "mega fight" and now have to find slots for both. Alexander has his at 1.2 million for fighting a guy coming off a loss.

                    3. If I were Team Bradley I would do exactly what they are doing. Using the promise of an HBO date to secure his future. If Bradley is as boring and underwhelming as we all think then his market value will be small. Why wouldn't they want to make as much as they can while HBO still wants him on their channel? He makes a defense say against Lamont Peterson at his 1.2 million, wins, well he is in the same boat as he was only with an extra 1.2 million to his account

If the Bradley fight doesn't happen there is noway Khan goes up to welterweight. You're making it sound like its Bradley or no one at 140lbs. Khan's already calling out Zab Judah, he can fight for the IBF title.

I will only consider this a duck IF Bradley (after facing another fighter) still doesnt fight Khan. Right now he's choosing to have one fight to get the dollars. HBO haven't ruled anything out if Bradley doesn't fight (at least to my knowledge) if so post the article.
