Fighters move where the money is. Golovkin could probably make 154 but I agree the Floyd fight ain't happening
If anything Groves should be calling GGG out not saying he should fight a WW

Mayweather-Golovkin isn't an impossible fight. Floyd is the champion at Light-Middleweight. Golovkin could probably cut 4lbs and make the weight.
It's not unrealistic because of weight, it's unrealistic because of business and risk/reward.

People only want him to move down so he don't have to fight someone who is a threat. Hasn't he fought enough smaller opponents? How many career middleweights has he fought? 1?
Yh lets have him drop down to fight Floyd or Manny, two guys who barely even weigh in at the welterweight limit on fight night! Ridiculous.

Don't these people have any shame? Fight tough people your own size, man, NOT small, overmatched, tired, or old guys. I really think that the only reason this guy gets away with this and gets all this publicity, is because he's white, and most whites or black haters, inferior thinking people, are desperate for it.
Fight WARD or FUUKK off.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 10-23-2014, 10:49 AM.

Mayweather has no business being in the ring with Golovkin. It's Ward-Golovkin that we want to see. Alvarez is really the only opponent below 160 that GGG should be looking at and even then I can't see that fight happening.
There isn't anyone at 160 either, the only way is up.

Floyd is 2x, unified, reigning, lineal champ at SWW. How the fcuk is it not cool to cal him out at the weight where he's The Man?

Miguel Cotto, a guy who started his career off at 140. A smaller man who travelled the divisions like Floyd, that's why Cotto won't fight Golovkin despite him being 'the man' at 160.
He fought Alvarez at a catch weight, he knew he was beatable and it was a calculated risk. Unless Mayweather's using a potato to calculate the risk against Golovkin, he knows it's a step too far.
