From memory our guys were pretty keen to fight as well. Don't think that went down too well.

Ya without a doubt they were.In the last 10 years gaelic football has let soccer pussiness creep in to it and after your comment i decided to look up a clip off a test from two years ago and everytime their was a fight an aussie lad would hit one of our lads and they would go down like they were shot trying to get an auss sent off.Now saying that some tackles were after the ball was kicked but when squaring up our lads pussed out

Its not an international game which kinda sux.
Would be good if they were able to run full on without bouncing the ball too that would make it more exciting (elusive runs ect) and big hits/tackles and real fights!!! not ****en shirt pulling.
It will never be as big as union I think a small part of the reason its so big is beacause its called "Aussie" rules.
anyway it is what it is and is obviously the number one domestic sport in Australia.
