Again, the odds are in Floyd's favor for several reasons BUT the topic is that Margarito back then was too risky for Floyd so Floyd fought Baldomir. Floyd even admitted when asked why he ducked him years before and Floyd responded that he knew that there was something fishy about Margarito.

I repeat, Floyd's team said "We can't fight Margarito because he got a hand bruise against Judah." They even clarified that it wasn't broke.

Floyd fought Judah in early 2006. Floyd had two opportunities to fight Margarito. In August and then later in November. Bruised hand??? You still buy Floyd's side of the story??? Come on, it was a DUCK!!!
comparing floyd to cotto now Cotto gasses late and he is chinny, him and mayweather are literally nothing alike.

why would he fight margarito, when he could fight delahoya? Its a better fight for more money.

You didn't read all my previous posts I presume. It's boxing, so whoever you think should win does not always win. There have been many upsets. Now add the fact that Margarito has beaten quality opponents like Cotto and the odds improve.

You need to fight to get credit with a win. Sorry but Floyd can't get credit for ducking! Only happens with Floyd's fans fantasy world.

In 2006, Floyd had several opportunities to fight Margarito. Floyd's camp said "we are turning down a fight with Margarito because Floyd has a bruise on his hand" ... Floyd fought Baldomir in November. Judah fight was early April. Floyd pretty much said NO two times to Margarito that year and yes to Baldomir not Oscar.

To be Fair E.P.T. he says "he's a Rich Scared Coward" and then goes on to question his dumb fans on why they want to watch him since he a self admitted coward.

Floyd was left with no choice but to fight Baldomir sadly because that's the only way he could get to an Oscar Delahoyd fight.

What does Baldomir have to do with getting a fight with Oscar?

Mayweather had to buy out of the contract and fight Oscar and Baldomir away from Top Rank because Arum basically said no to a future Delahoya fight, which meant no future Margarito fight.

                  Wrong!

Floyd was as free as a bird when he paid Arum BUT both sides said that it didn't mean that Floyd can't fight TR fighters.

Arum had plans to get Margarito to fight Floyd or someone else in August of that year. Floyd said "can't fight Margarito because of bruise". Arum said, if Floyd fights a bit later, we may then wait it out for Margarito.

                  Floyd fought in November.
Margarito waited from February to December to fight ...

You guys are in denial. Floyd wanted no part of Margarito back then because he was too risky. Again, he could have fought him all that year as Margarito was waiting for Floyd .... but Floyd didn't want the challenge!

Margarito signed to fight Clottey late summer once Floyd got out of the TR contract. Oscar was lined up after Baldomir, then Margarito lost to Williams. Margarito wasn't the best option anymore.

Floyd could have fought Margarito in August or November or somewhere in between. Margarito called out Floyd. Floyd said not this time.

This was known way before any signing of any fight. Could have been signed in April, May, June, July, August, .... Stop the denials. Don't make it sound like there was a small window of opportunity ....
