Interesting thread. Carl Froch for one. Nobody thought this guy would accomplish even a fraction of what he has. Nobody. And why would they pre Pascal, pre Super Six? He had to prove it to people. There are many who are probably still amazed at how this unathletic, lumbering, wide swinging, wide open crude operator is amongst the best boxers in the world.

What about BHOP? Guy has great chin and never gets cut but doesnt exactly excel in the other 3 categories. his timing makes him seem quicker.

and i was watching linares over the weekend, guy has a face made of paper mache. i was scared he was gonna get cut walking through the ropes. add that to a glass jaw.

he has tremendous skills but thats not a natural talent.
