What is the situation over there mate? I can't pretend to have any real knowledge about what is going on. From what I understand the current president has been in charge for over two decades and rules over quite a repressive regime? Is this a working class rising?

Interesting. Not a protest which is restricted to one section of society then, but a cross-class uprising with people of differing beliefs and gender taking to the streets? I read that one of the factors is to progress freedom of speech within Egypt - this is something which gets my backing and respect.
