What's the closest you've ever come to death?

I almost got swept out to sea once while surfing. 14 ft bombers that day. Also got slammed by a few clean up sets and got pinned underwater for a few minutes. I broke through the surface with like a second left before drowning.

About two months ago I hit my toe on the side of the bed. Fck all of y'all if you've never had that happen to you before then you don't know what pain is. I almost grabbed my 9mm and pulled the trigger to end the pain. Life changing
