MGM bought a sh$t load of tickets on day 1 so they could do this promotion.

Has nothing to do with the ticket sells.

kind of does.

IF sales are great at the casino in terms of bringing in more than the expected numbers then a lot of those tickets are releeased back to the promoter who in turn will release them back to the broker. Mind you most people book their accomodations far in advance of their arrival so casinos have a great sense of what their numbers will do. If they see sales not meeting projected numbers then they will entice customers by offering free tickets (for those staying a certain room that didn't initially have that incentive) to one level upgrades (for those who had tickets coming to them anyways) to ringside seats (to those in the pricier rooms)


By contrast you probably won't see this Nov 12th
