  • Better win for Floyd - Mosley in '10, or the Cotto/Margarito of 07/08?

Imdazed thinks Floyd's win against Mosley in 2010 was as good as any victory over Cotto or Margarito would have been from 07/08 for Floyd.

    I don't.

    Cotto/Margarito. Absolutely.

I'm a big fan of Floyd but I admit I sometimes wonder why.

Floyd ducked Mosley in 2007 and fought Hatton, when Shane was still very good.

Shane called Floyd out on ESPN in June, but Floyd went for the smaller Hatton, and made him move up to 147 for the fight, instead of fighting Shane who was already at welterweight.

Shane defeated Collazo more decisively than Hatton had, so Floyd chose Hatton.

Once Floyd was sure Shane was faded in 2010, THEN AND ONLY THEN was he willing to fight him.

Beating Cotto in 2008 catapulted Antonio Margarito to the top. So much that he outsold Kobe fkkn Bryant in the Staples Center.

That coulda been Floyd. tsk tsk

Why do people put **** like this, knowing someone's gonna come right back post some article most likely with no link how Floyd wanted all the big names but arum or the fighters wouldn't go for it. Or someone will come up and say the bigger money fight was hatton it made more sense blah blah then it'll lead to pacquiao god that **** gets old.

Trolling once again....it was Shane, not Floyd, who wanted nothing to do with that fight at that time. Floyd fought Shane while he was coming off stopping this version of Margarito being talked about.

had Floyd beat Margarito it would have been the same thing really since Margarito lost pretty much every fight since Cotto with exception to 1

also Mosley 10 > Margarito that beat cotto

Let's just examine that for a second. Mosley fought a twitchy, jittery fight right from the first bell, and bought nothing to that fight but 2 overhand right hands.

Margarito bought unbelievable will, relentless desire and fought the fight of his life. It was also the end of his prime probably, he took a huge beating in the course of that fight.
