I too was rooting for Ghana.

what hurtst he most is that countries with populations of 2-4 million are out doing england and out doing us consistently. we have better resources, tonnes of pitches, great stadiums, an impressive domestic league system and we just don't produce players the quality of Suarez and co!

Indeed, the sport is so rich here in the UK that there should [must!] be some payback for all the money invested/paid.

Australia seem to dominate every sport they take seriously [I mean they are superb at cricket, field hockey, rugby...] - see what they do and copy it!
