  • Should I take the day off

Yesterday was my rest day so I had that off, today I'm kinda sick got a blocked up nose and a sore throat. My gym session today got cancelled (public holiday) and I was debating whether or not to run...do you think it would be best to take the day off and make sure the cold goes away, or try and run? (it's raining out too)

Felt like seeing what others thought

your starting to get sick. Take the day off, get good rest. Running in the rain is asking for trouble, especially if you are feeling the sickness coming.

take it from someone who is just starting to fully heal from a bad case of bronchitis.take the day off.i had to go to the doctor, get a shot, and take a lot of antibiotics for a week.taking a day off is nothing compared to the time you will miss from training if the sickness gets serious.
