Does Mayweather's Impeccable Defence Conceal A Glass Jaw?

Originally posted by FlatLine View PostMayweather hardly ever gets hit, his defense is the best in the sport but the few occasions he's been caught with a decent shot he's been wobbled or staggered. Remember Mosley catching Mayweather with just one decent shot and Mayweather had to hold Mosley in order to stay standing. Then there was Hatton who caught Mayweather clean, again with just one shot in the first round, sending him staggering back to the ropes, almost crumpling to the canvas. What about Judah, .. made Mayweather touch the floor with a sharp counter. Maidana caught Mayweather at the end of the round with a well timed counter and Floyd staggered back to his stool on unsteady legs as the bell rang to finish the round.
So what's the deal, does Mayweather have a glass jaw but it's been well protected by his immaculate defense so it very rarely even gets hit. If his defense wasn't so good, is it likely he would have been knocked out on numerous occasions? Or indeed, if he faced someone with the speed to hit him repeatedly, like for example Amir Khan.
