let's be honest and give credit where credit is due...Danny "SWIFT" Garcia, formerly "Prince of Boxing" now "King of 147", took the spirit out of Lucas...Lucas went in there, could've been a champion for the first time in his career, came into the fight being on the cover of The Ring Magazine, ranked #1 140 fighter, had just knocked out Lamont in 3 or 4 rounds, had a streak of knockouts, got in there with SWIFT and gave it his absolute all, had a few successful rounds til Angel slapped the crap outta Danny and told him to get his sh>t together, and Danny went out there and fractured Lucas' face, took Lucas' best punch in the 11th round, which had Lucas feeling confident, sucked it up and dropped Lucas with a ferocious body shot 2 minutes later...Lucas gave it his all but was hyped up and he believed the hype, Danny demolished him and Lucas was never the same fighter again, plus that fight with Ruslan took what was left out of him

One of the most overrated fighters by dumb fans, like Paul Williams. Both were B-level. Lucas had average boxing skills. Maybe even below average.

It always seemed like he force himself to do it because his entire family are boxers. His been talking about retiring for a long time now, I believe right before the Judah fight he was ready to walk away but someone convinced him to keep going. Same thing happened to Maidana but luckily for him it paid out to continue to fight.

If he decides to call it a career I wish him the best of luck

This won't be very popular because Danny is public enemy #1 in these forums, but I agree 100%. Danny took this dude soul and postol finished him.

Exactly this. Are people genuinely ******ed? Is Danny Garcia the new Floyd Mayweather where he beats guys then somehow 'takes their souls'? The win was all Postol's, way to take shine off another fighter's win. And wasn't it Vivian Harris who blew up Lucas' eye in their fight? By that admission Harris took Lucas' soul. He made him tentative over his eye for the rest of his career

Must be depressing to have beat Olusegun, Soto, Provodnikov, and Peterson and have never got a world title, meanwhile guys like Garcia and Chavez jr got theirs handed to them on a silver platter.

the danny fight was 3 years ago. when a fighter "takes your soul" you dont continue to fight 3 years later. delusional garcia fans lmao. An example of a fighter getting his soul taken is what manny did to hatton...he retired him and turned him into a depressed coke head.
