There must have been cricket threads before this. I have encyclopaedic knowledge of cricket - I study that ish.

As for WC 15 - taking the 8 proper sides:

Aus - all round strength, at home.
RSA - likely to choke. Weak 2nd string bowling (after Steyn, Morkel and Philander)
NZ - excellent AR side. Home conditions.
Eng - top heavy batting, weak 2nd string bowling. Too timid.

Pak: cant bat for ish, good bowling. Batting will cost them.
India: good batting, weak bowling. Bowling will cost them.
SRL: Top heavy, weak bowling sans Malinga and Mendis
WI: weak bowling, better batting. Rely massively on Gayle.

Aus are my pick with NZ, RSA likely to do well.

Outside bet: India.
