Where they are wrong of course is believing hatton would have had a chance with any other ref. It wouldn't matter if the ref was steve smoger, kenny bayless or hulk holgan, he could never beat floyd.
the hulkman would leg drop those two bums and carry their titles back to his castle in the sky

Didn't realize we'd traveled back to the year 2008.

Feels like someone whipped out the DeLorean time machine.

Uhhh... there's a huge distinction between holding and inside fighting.. Hatton was HOLDING, Hatton was getting destroyed inside too. Both were holding and clinching actually so separation was needed since they weren't going to let go. Watch a few of Rios' recent fight - that's INSIDE fighting, Hatton just came in and held or clinched up. What else do you want the ref to do when both of their arms are locked in? I think you're in the wrong sport if you want to watch some sort of WWE entertainment.

Some of the British fans/Die hard Hatton fans are truly delusional, primarily due to the travesty of Hatton/Tsyzu - what an atrocious fight by the ref.

I've never understood this either. I always said, when Hatton comes to the U.S. and the refs actually make him fight rather than hold and hit, he will get mauled. Sure enough, Collazo nearly took his ass out in his first fight here. And then Mayweather obviously destroyed him as we all knew he would.

Floyd is better on the inside than Hatton..

Hatton even admitted it after the fight.

Joe cortez did Ricky a favor..

Who really says this? Only a few haters and the pinoy say this crap, the latter haven't even watched the fight because it doesn't involve Manny. They just hear someone else say something negative and then parrot it excessively without even investigating things themselves.

                    2 pounds overweight....such an injustice.

You act like Floyd pulled a Brandon Rios or some shi.t..

because Cortez doesnt allow infighting and didnt warn Mayweather for using his elbows, which he did repeatedly in the fight.

It wouldnt have made a difference in the outcome, but it would have made a difference in how the fight played out.
