The way 6'2" Andre Dirrell struggled to stay far enough from Abe's punches once he opened up it's kind of hard to imagine how that would work for little Floyd. Every time he came in to score a couple points he would seriously risk being knocked out cold.

I dunno, Abrham is a beast, but kinda crap too. He starts very slow, doesn't really move, just holds his hands up to eat punches allowing his opponents to tire out. A very unique and effective style against some.

Would a technical fighter like GGG really have trouble beating him? I think GGG would kill his body with all the open shots he would have. GGG is just as much of a beast, but a better fighter by a million miles.

No way the abrahammer lands flush on Floyd.

Why not? It worked for Maidana. Sturm would never do good against Abraham, I don't think, as he dodged big punchers his entire career.

GGG would probably have AA a mess after a while. Even a prime AA only fought 8 of 12 rounds, at best. He always gave away the first 3 since his stamina sucked.

The question is hard to answer since there a lot of fighters around the weight class that have flaws of their own, including many of the boxer types who get dropped regularly, like Lara for example. Geale's workrate could possibly earn him a decision but he'd be tiring in the championship rounds himself and that would leave him open to a classic 12 round AA brutal KO.

Honestly? I think Demetrius Andrade moves well enough, is good enough defensively and has just about enough volume to beat Abraham. The issue always with the smaller guys against Abraham is will they get caught.

Abraham isn't the most physically imposing guy, plenty of stick and move fighters would do well against him. There just aren't many stick and move guys from 154-160

Andrade getting dropped by Vanes doesn't really give him that much room for error against AA. Looks like a brutal KO waiting to happen.

It won't need to land flush. It could hit his arms and still cause damage, his arms would get sore very fast in this situation. Mayweather is a defensive master, though, if he fought the most careful fight in his life and ran all the time, just doing what is absolutely neccesary, it could be 50-50.

A prime Mayweather would run & potshot his way to a wide UD. However this current version of Mayweather....I'm not so sure.

Ali Raymi TKO 1 Arthur Abraham. If Froch hurt Abraham to the body imagine with ATG Raymi would do. Sickening....

Abraham has been shocking recently. Really, really, bad.

He didn't hit Paul Smith with anything big. He doesn't Hit Floyd with anything.

Amir Khan would light Abraham up, lol.

Abraham might actually be able to break his neck though.
