Thats a little over the top dont you think. Like I said all I hear on B-Scene is how they are good people. No one laid a hand on Hopkins when he snatched the P4 Flag out of Trinidad's hand and stepped on it.

Im actually hoping its a farewell fight for manny. Hopefully valero can beat a marquez, diaz or katsidis at 135, beat a big name at 140 then face Pac. By then Valero's buzz would be pretty good and the fight IMO would be similar to a Barrera vs Morales in terms of action and back n forth war.

If Vegas sites only hold 1,000 more people they bring in 90+% more revenue at the gate. I think most people in the US should be praying that a site, like Dallas, can convince Golden Boy, Mayweather and Top Rank Promotions to bring the fight to a site that can hold at least 60,000 people. Most football stadiums in this country seat that many people. If you could get that fight to a stadium with that many seat you might be able to compete with a Vegas casino.

On a different note; Vegas really needs to build a Casino arena that seats 25-35,000 people. I know the MGM has "intimate" seating, but that doesn't beat a HUGE crowd that's actually into the fight. Vegas could get that for at least one or two fights per year and the $20 mil in gate would eventually more than account for the cost of construction.

I wouldn't want to watch another Ninoy Aquino incident in the airport.

Pardon me fellow Pinoys for bringing up that part of our history but you get my point.

What I said above was a bit harsh, or better yet fellow NSB posters who are not Pinoy should research the word "kuyog". lol

Seriously, Filipinos are known to be hospitable heck some pinoys might even sign an autograph or take pictures with him just like Morales.

burner you gotta realize that the phillipines is a 3rd world country. When you have poverty, violence is not far behind. Go back and rewatch the Cotto vs Pac 24/7 series. Pac has two body guards at this gates and both have ak47's.

Ask yourself this....who is more loved in the phillipines than Pacquiao? If he has to have that type of protection and is loved, imagine what type Floyd would need if he went down there (especially after all of his greasy comments/shots he has throw out at manny and his country).

Floyd gets killed if he goes down there.....bottomline.

Wrong...very wrong. YOu don't remember history. The Philippine economy back then was much stronger than it is now...HBO would have to be stupid to do it there now.
