I was going to say Pacman, but being the realist that I am it struck. Team Pacman refused to fight him anywhere where they are on even terms. 148 mannyweight was as close as they got.

Meanwhile he is fighting Floyd in may. So the realistic choice is the only 1 that we have, which is obviously Floyd in may.

Floyd will show Manny hows its done by beating an opponent at their prime weight without demanding unfair advantages.

Pac winning the 154 light middleweight when he weighed 144 against a guy who couldnt weigh in at the lightmiddleweight limit and who was previously knocked out bacdly by a washedup 38 yeard old is still the biggest farce in boxing.
Thats not how its done. Winning the title at the proper limit against a guy on role is how is done. 1-0 to Floyd.

you have a point up there...

however, cotto taking floyd's 0 may also mean floyd is past it, also...being not so active and older...

more people saying taking floyd's 0 is greater could be attributed to floyd's skill in promoting himself and the hype attached to his unbeaten record...

however, floyd is not the only fighter still with an intact/clean slate.....

many will rise their eyebrows, but there is only 1 8 div champion to date...

avenging a loss to pac would be more to it

Pacquiao is not a true 8 division champ. He also loses prestige by winning titles in catchweight fights and level of competition since Marquez 2
