My point was that I don't know if DLH was that much more popular than Canelo, and i'm saying that bare in mind we are in the streaming era which is much more accessible than illegal cable boxes. So for all we know Canelo would have been as popular as DLH, or even more popular, in the 1990s.

Yeah, nobody has to stream anything, just like no one has to buy any ****ty PPV like GGG-Lemiuex. It's a privilage to have fans buying your PPV, not something that is owed to the fighters and networks trying to sell us crap. Having your PPV not purchased doesn't mean the people don't love boxing, if a PPV bombed it means nobody that loves boxing purchased your ****. I can say the same thing you just said but the opposite, to the networks and promoters, if you love boxing fans then give us better PPV fights or else we will stream/find something else to do that night.
